Day 1

1/1/18. It’s a clean slate, which is pretty freaking awesome. Now the way Dr. Rupy does this is in a vlog format, but to be honest, I’m not that confident [yet!]. So let’s just dive right in!

  1. Meditation I am so thankful that I was able to ring in the New Year with good old meditation. It gave me the opportunity to reflect on 2017 on my own, while channelling my intentions for 2018. I think that was so important and it just made me feel “spiritually cleansed” again, although I was unable to go to India this New Year.
  2. Lounging with my Family & Having Mom’s Food To be super honest, I did not do anything extravagant today. But I legitimately just chilled at home and did absolutely nothing with my family. When I mean nothing I mean like play COD Zombies with DTR (my brother – Dave the Rave), bug the crap out of Anki Monkey (little sister) and laugh about nothing with Mom and Dad. It was pretty wicked. Then Mom made AMAZING Rajma Chawal (Punjabi Beans and Rice) DELISH!
  3. Playing Card Games with the Pisupatis So lucky to have spent the evening playing card games with my siblings and Yashu and Meghu! We grew up as neighbors when we were younger, and although we may not live next to each other anymore – we live 15 minutes apart- and whenever we’re all in town we try to hang out. And tonight felt like the good old days. It was SO much fun and I cannot wait for tomorrow.

With that said, 2018 is off to a good start! I am so excited for what adventures lay ahead!!! Yay!!!
